2022 was a historic year for Maddie’s Footprints.  In January we expanded our services from covering the 10 parishes of Acadiana, to adding on the 9 parishes of Greater Baton Rouge. It has been an honor to serve Baton Rouge area families and give them the same level of care and support our Acadiana families have received for 13 years now.

In 2022, we have served 201 families in Acadiana and 186 in Greater Baton Rouge.  

Also, 2022 marked our first full year with a licensed social worker on staff.  Ashley Stroder has been a tremendous asset to our families, leading support groups, workshops, and conducting  over 70 private sessions with moms, dads and couples.

Since the beginning of Maddie’s Footprints in 2010, we have assisted 2,350 families and paid out over $1.25 million in financial assistance for burial or medical expenses.

There are too many people to thank everyone for their support individually, but as we wrap up 2022 and look forward to 2023, we want to send a huge thank you to all of the individuals, families and companies who have been by our side from the beginning, as well as all of our new partners.
