Digital Room For Hope

  • Weekly Support Group
  • See Below
  • Zoom

Due to the Coronavirus and government regulations, we have to move our in-person support sessions to online. This is the same type of support group session as the Room for Hope (see below for description), but it will be held over Zoom. Because it is held online, the space is not limited to only 8 participants.

We will hold two Digital Room for Hope meetings a week, one on Wednesday from 12pm-1:30pm and another one on Saturday from 10am-11:30 am.

Here are the links to join:

Room for Hope

  • Weekly Support Group
  • 12:00pm to 1:00pm
  • 2600 Johnston St
Our midweek support group will be an informal meeting to allow others who are on a similar grief journey to come together and share their experiences. This will be a smaller and more intimate group that will allow a more one on one connection. This added group does not take the place of our monthly Sunday support groups. This is an additional resource we are offering. Space is limited to 8 participants so reserve your spot. If we see a strong interest in lunch time support sessions, we will consider adding additional days. We will meet in our “Room For Hope” 2nd floor of the Hospice of Acadiana building at 2600 Johnston St. If you would like more information please contact Reecie Gilmore at 361-944-4226!

Footprints of Hope

  • Monthly Support Group
  • 4:00pm to 5:30pm
  • 2600 Johnston St
This month’s topic is “How men and women grieve differently.” This meeting will be facilitated by Mike Collado, a Maddie’s Footprints Broad Member. Footprints of Hope is an opportunity to meet and connect with other families who are on a similar grief journey. It allows us a safe place to talk about our babies. Please help spread the word. Invite a friend / and or family member. If you would like more information please feel free to contact us. We want to support you and hold your hand.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

  • Monthly Support Group
  • 6:00pm to 7:00pm
  • 2207 Kaliste Saloom Rd
This week’s Somewhere over the Rainbow- Support Group will be held at La Madeline on Kaliste Saloom. Attention Rainbow Moms! We are pleased to announce a special group just for you. If you are trying again, pregnant with your rainbow, or have delivered your rainbow baby, we would love to meet with you. This will be a safe space for us to share our fears with out judgement in a room full of fellow Rainbow Moms that “get it.” We want to walk this pregnancy after loss journey with you. You are not alone. Your feelings matter and we understand this can be a very delicate and vulnerable time in your life. Let’s chase and catch rainbows together.
