Companions Along the Journey

Companions Along the Journey is a bereavement support group for anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one. Any experience of loss including suicide, infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, adoption placements and abortion. Your privacy and confidentiality will be observed.

Provides free grief counseling in either an individual or group setting. Hospice of Acadiana is a local organization of compassionate, well-trained professionals, support staff, and volunteers who provide a comprehensive program of medical care, counseling, and spiritual direction to persons with life-threatening conditions and their families. When Hospice of Acadiana, Inc. was established in 1983, one of the guiding principles was a pledge to accept all medically eligible patients, regardless of their ability to pay for services. Since that time, they have dedicated themselves to compassionate care for the dying as a form of community ministry rather than as a business and have set quality of care, not financial reward, as the ultimate measure of success.

Angel Gowns by Diane

The mission of Angel Gowns by Diane is to provide, at no cost to the family, burial gowns and other garments for families who have suffered the loss of a child before, during, or shortly after birth.
To do this we will seek out donations of wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and other formal wear in suitable condition to be disassembled and the resulting material used to create angel gowns.

Blessing Box
